How to speak “Can” and “Can’t” in Thai
Can is used as a positive word to express ability or to say that something is possible. To turn this negative, we use the word can’t (can’t=cannot).

Remember: Can’t/Cannot = “Mai dai”
“Mai” before the verb = Can’t “Mai” after the verb = question marker (?) and forms the question “Can?”
